About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented 3D Printing Operator to support our daily production operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting material preparation for 3D printing (pre-printing tests), running, maintaining, and monitoring industrial 3D printers and other equipment, performing post-processing of high-precision components used in the aerospace and energy sectors. This position is an entry-level job, entailing material mixing and preparation, sanding, finishing, and cleaning printed components, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring printers and other heavy-duty machineries. A considerable proportion of the daily job is to deal with cleaning the build-platform of the printers and the parts, as well as working with different chemical and ceramic powder, hence compliance with H&S regulation is on top of all requirements. The operators will be wearing face-masks, gloves, and other PPEs.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate, monitor, and maintain 3D printers (ceramic and polymer-based)
•Post-process printed parts (IPA cleaning, support removal, curing, and sanding)
•Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of the machines
•Assist with quality checks and the packing/shipping of finished goods
•Directly work under supervision of the engineers and researchers to meet production targetsRequirements:
•Hands-on experience with 3D printers or similar manufacturing machinery
•Experience in manufacturing environment and manual production units
•Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills•Strong attention to detail and time management•Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment
•Previous experience in additive manufacturing or prototyping is a plus
